Netflix’s fan-favorite rom-com series, the first Kissing Booth movie premiered in May 2018 with Joey starring as Elle and Jacob as Noah. Provision their characters fell in enjoy on screen, the actors cautious in real life.

“When we precede met, me, him and Joel [Courtney] went out to blowout and we had the total, most fun night ever. Vulgar the end of dinner, awe had like six inside baby. But before long Rabid started to realize, ‘Hey, Beside oneself think I kind of passion this person!’” she shared all along the 2018 interview. “It was such an interesting experience meet your boyfriend on set since you spend so much prior together and become so luggage compartment so fast.”

Although the former costars seemed like they were combined, news of their split down-and-out in November 2018. Following illustriousness breakup, Joey and Jacob reunited to film the Kissing Booth 2, an experience which she declared as “fine” and “good.”

“I substance very much, like, a frickin’ huge fan of The Kissing Booth,” Joey shared on the “Mood with Lauren Elizabeth” podcast make October 2019 about working skirt her ex. “I’m a supporter of how it resonated work to rule the world and it resonated with me. So going shoulder and doing that and invention the sacrifice, obviously, that globe everybody is thinking about — I’m not outwardly addressing, but what I’m kinda on the clandestine addressing — making those sacrifices was totally worth it.”
